Per several sources, the Lions are signing wide receiver Trinity Benson to the active roster from the Denver Broncos’ practice squad.

Benson returns to Detroit after being waived over the summer. He had been with Denver on the practice squad for several weeks.

The fourth-year vet saw his only regular-season action with the Lions in 2021. Benson caught 10 passes on 22 targets in eight games, netting 103 yards.
